That's my mom. She sings. Jazz. She's been doing it her entire life, but she never recorded anything before. I figured I'd put the degree she helped me get to good use by producing her first ever CD. It was a blast. We recorded in Boston, Long Island, and Santa Monica. I comped vocal tracks in LA and sent the sessions to a friend in NY to mix them. I had the songs mastered at one of the world's best studios. We worked with a family friend to create the artwork. I hired a friend I have made through work to design and develop a website. And now, you can stream, purchase, and even get a free track from "jody carlson" by heading over to jodycarlson.com. I think this is what life is all about. I'm so glad I got to do this.

Wow Chris. It was an amazing journey for me. Your sensitive direction was professional and always right on. Your way with others in the studio elicited great Karma and relaxed spontaneous music.
